One of the larger more respected companies behind the industry leaders Pioneer and Technics, Vestax have a lot in common with the turntablism and scratch market, and have made some simply stunning products in their time. The PDX series of turntable for example certainly used to be, and in it's current 3000 guise, probably still is, the main rival of the Technics 1210. Throw in the award-winning PMC range of mixers, some great CD decks, and a whole lot of innovation and you should get the picture.

About Vestax
As with most other companies on here, Vestax do produce products in the speakers, accessories and effects unit markets, but we've chosen to concentrate on the main three for starters - decks, cd decks and mixers.
The PMC-08Pro mixer is the new 2-channel beauty with some quite interesting ideas under it's cover. It's been labelled "hybrid digital" with 24-bit DSP but uses an analog interface, utilising top notch AD converters in it's circuitry. Whilst we're talking decks, the revolutionary QFO deserves a mention. Originally working on a suggestion of Vestax Pro Q-BERT, the plan was to produce an instrument for the next generation of turntablists - to let them mix and scratch like playing a guitar.
