I started on Soundlab belt-drives, then moved to Stanton direct-drives & had to start again then finally moved to Technics 1210's & again had to learn to mix!
Nothing else compares to the precision & solidness of a Technics turntable. Other turntables may have more 'gimmicks' but you simple do not need them as they don't compare to what Technics brings to the table.
