Certainly one of the more trusted names amongst DJ equipment manufacturers, Stanton have been on the go for over 50 years! Formed in 1946, Stanton Magnetics have produced some fantastic products over time, and recently re-invented the wheel, as it were, with their Final Scratch system allowing DJ's to mix and scratch music files on a computer with a normal turntable setup (using special records).

The STR8-150 turnatable is one of their most successful products to date, with it actually coming close to being better than the fabled Technics 1210 (something not many manufacturers can claim). It has more torque than any other deck in the indsutry, and was re-designed from scratch along with it's sister the ST-150. [STR8-150 Reviews]
Stanton Cartridges and Styli (vinyl turntable needles for those un-educated out there!) are the company's other famous product, which they've been producing since the beginning.
