Completely agree with your comment around these versus the Sennheiser's Bryan, I'm an owner of the HDJ-1000's myself and they've not let me down yet, whilst I've found the Sennheiser HD-25's to be far too fiddly when using other people's - not a fan of the small cup headphones.

Definately my fave headphones ive ever used, I have both these and Sennheiser HD25 mk1 and I can honestly say these are far better - great sound quality and lovely bass response, the ear brackets to break sometimes however - ive glued and taped mine up but they are surviving and still sounding great!

BEWARE OF BUYING CHINESE FAKES THOUGH as they are complete rubbish

Simply the best headphones I have ever used. These babies pump out better sound then any other headphone on the market. I've also read that people have problems with the ear phones falling off but I've never had a problem, and I've had my pair for just over a year. Go get some now.
