If you've got a budget-medium price range, this could well be the one for you, especially if your mixing is more than just beat-matching. The LCD screen and massive amount of blue and yellow buttons give you access to sampling, 4 different FX areas, and MIDI controls - and that's just the start! A lot of bang for your buck!

When hooked up to Trackor Scratch or Serato it works and controls with them both very well . The effects processors are excellent. The digital channels and crossfader are also excellent. So you don't have the worry about crackly noises coming from the crossfader or channels anymore.
I also must say the look of the DDM-4000 is second to none. I think the only bad things I have to say about this mixer (and they are not really bad things) is the placement of the headphones jack - it's in a bit of a daft place. Also, the sampler is not too clever, it could be better.
Overall I would recommend this mixer. To anyone that likes to get creative when in the mix. I give the DDM-4000 10 out of 10 for its price!!!! (EXCELLENT).
